Thirty Cent Fare, the sharp new solo project of Scott Downes (Iris, Blue Moon), snapped to life in the reclusive quiet of winter ‘20. The debut EP, “Time to Waste Away,” showcases Downes at his most pristine, having (mostly) hung up the fuzz in favour for clarity, and rescued his voice from shoegaze’s typical submersion.
